  • Can no longer select a Sound Siphon virtual device as the monitoring device.

  • Fixed sample rate mismatch when capturing audio playing to Bluetooth devices.
  • Last version to support macOS 10.11 (El Capitan), 10.12 (Sierra), 10.13 (High Sierra. The next update to Sound Siphon will require macOS 10.14 (Mojave).

  • Reduced CPU use.
  • Fixed devices menu alignment when plugin isn’t installed.
  • Now truncates long app and devices names.
  • Fixed a memory leak in the app.
  • Now remembers the previous volume when disabling mute on an app.
  • New welcome.
  • Better explanation of additional components.
  • Microphone input agent no longer attempt to launch at login when Sound Siphon isn’t also installed.
  • Install Additional Components in the Preferences -> Support tab is now hidden if components have already been installed.
  • Can now save over EQ presets to update them.
  • Fixed a crash that could occur when audio devices are connected or disconnected.
  • Fixed issue that caused Touch Bar preferences to be disabled.
  • The back button now works properly in the touch bar.
  • Master volume in the touch bar now updates properly when the volume is changed elsewhere.
