  • Fixed a conflict when Sound Siphon and Sound Control are active at the same time.

Version 3.4.0

  • Initial support for macOS Ventura (13.0).
  • The next update will require macOS 10.15 or later.
  • Fixed capture of built-in microphone on M1 MacBook Pro’s and possibly other M1 Mac’s.
  • Fixed a memory leak in the plugin.
  • Better volume curve for output devices that don’t have hardware volume controls when Sound Siphon Output is the default output.
  • Support for higher sample rates > 192khz.

  • Added export options for recorded movies to the history.
  • Fixed distorted audio when capturing separate audio tracks.
  • Added 60 fps recording option, in addition to Max fps.
  • Added option to override the appearance of the app by choosing Light, Dark, or match system.
  • Fixed issue where some apps were missing from the audio capture menu.
  • Better screen, camera, and microphone permission handling.
  • Added support tab to preferences.
  • Added option to timestamp video frames.
  • Fixed a hang when generating icon thumbnails.
  • Now requires 10.15 or later.

If you purchased Iris from the Mac App Store you may continue to use that version. However there will not be any more updates to Iris in the Mac App Store.

There are some features that we will be adding to Iris that simply weren’t possible (allowed by Apple) in the Mac App Store. We look forward to adding them.
