Sound Control 2 is a FREE upgrade to owners of Sound Control 1.

Version 2.1.6

  • Hot keys no longer require modifier keys.
  • Once again works on macOS 10.10.
  • Last version to work on macOS 10.10. Next update will require 10.11+.

Version 2.1.5

  • Fixed import and export of EQ presets.
  • Better handling of subprocesses like Minecraft.
  • Holding option when clicking on the menu now shows devices lists.
  • Now works with more audio devices, including Steinberg USB devices.
  • New Hotkey preferences UI.
  • Selected App Routing device names are now displayed properly.

Sound Siphon 2 is a FREE UPGRADE for those that have already purchased Sound Siphon 1.x.

  • Compatible with more output devices.
  • Fixed audio capture of multichannel output devices.
  • Better handling of subprocesses, such as Minecraft.
  • Added option to enable/disable play through for an input.
  • Can now specify the output device used for monitoring in preferences.
  • Fixed capturing audio from subprocesses. This fixes capturing from Chrome and Terminal, among other things.
