Sound Control 2.1.1 Changes:

  • Fixed incompatibility with macOS prior to 10.11.

 

Sound Control 2.1.0 Changes:

  • Can now control volume of aggregate devices and multi-output devices.
  • Added option to force Sound Control to handle volume keys.
  • Fixed segmented cell drawing issues on High Sierra.
  • Registration now properly handles license codes with inadvertent whitespace.
  • Fixed issue that could result in per-app volume not working on some apps.
  • Can now control more apps, including VMWare Fusion.

Record a Skype conversation

It’s very easy to record a Skype conversation with Sound Siphon.

  1. Launch Skype
  2. Turn Sound Siphon on.
  3. Click the + button in the lower left to create an input.
  4. Click the +v button and select Skype.
  5. Click the +v button and select your microphone.
  6. Click the Record button.
  7. Click Stop to finish the recording.

If you are unable to capture audio from Skype:

  1. Open Skype’s preferences.
  2. Select the Audio/Video tab.
  3. Make sure that Speakers is set to the Same as System.
