  • Fixed plugin installation on 10.14 and 10.15.
  • Fixed issue where audio isn’t processed properly on some devices.
  • Now includes a video detailing how to enable the System Audio Extension.
  • Added support for macOS 12.6.1.
  • Master volume no longer affects routed apps unless Independent Master Volume is enabled in preferences.
  • Fixed a crash when running with Japanese selected as the keyboard input source.

  • The next update will require macOS 10.15 or later.
  • Much better keyboard control in the menu. Can use minus and plus keys to increment volume of the highlighted app/device.
  • Added option to remove controlled apps from the menu.
  • Selecting an EQ from the menu no longer dismisses the menu.
  • Toggling between volume, EQ, balance, and routing now uses Command – 1,2,3,4 respectively.
  • Added hotkey for selecting specific devices.

If you purchased Iris from the Mac App Store you may continue to use that version. However there will not be any more updates to Iris in the Mac App Store.
