Requirements: 

  • macOS 11.4 – 14.x or later for System Extension

Changes:

  • Fixed an issue where priority devices aren’t always respected.
  • Routed audio device settings are now respected when an app is opened after Sound Control is running.
  • When routed devices are plugged or unplugged sound now plays to the system output.
  • Fixed a crash in a plug-in background process.
  • Fixed a memory leak in the plugin.
  • Added support for macOS 14.5

Iris 1.5.0 Now Available

If you purchased Iris from the Mac App Store you may continue to use that version. However there will not be any more updates to Iris in the Mac App.

There are some features that we will be adding to Iris that simply weren’t possible (allowed by Apple) in the Mac App Store. We look forward to adding them.

  • Added support for more ProRes variants on Macs that support it.
  • New App Icon.
  • Added welcome screen.
  • The selection size popup is no longer place under the notch on MacBook Pro’s that have one.
