There are many reports online of audio glitches occuring with macOS 10.12.4 and USB audio devices. This problem isn’t due to Sound Control or Sound Siphon.
We have verified that the glitches occur without our software installed.
This issue has been addressed by Apple in macOS 10.12.5. We highly recommend that everyone updates to 10.12.5. You can find out more information here:
At this time Sound Control does not work with virtual devices of any kind. This includes aggregate and Multi-Output devices. We are currently looking into the feasibility of supporting Mult-Output devices.
The Sound Control menu is mean for quick access to settings. If you want more time to tweak the setting for an app, just select “Show [App] Settings…”

If you are replacing Sound Control 2, be sure to uninstall it first. You can find instructions here:
Please keep in mind that Sound Control 1 is no longer being developed. If you are downgrading because you are having problems with Sound Control 2, please let us know so we can address this issues ASAP.
